Emily | Owner

Emily has been working for Lafayette Avenue Ceramics since she was 18 doing everything from sanding to shipping to glaze development. An ASU Ceramics grad, she took over the business in 2021 and is looking forward to growing the wholesale portfolio and making the studio an inclusive, supportive and sustainable place to work.

Emily is an Arizona native, a lefty, a vegetarian and spends her free time playing video games and caring for her adorable cat, Luz.

Our Values: Connect, Nourish, Sustain
Ever notice how family always gathers in the kitchen? It’s the community and bonding that happens when we cook together- a child learning from the adults, or the conversation that accompanies more tedious work. These small moments are what we all remember so fondly, so it's no wonder that so many of our traditions and celebrations include sharing food.

It was exactly this idea that started Lafayette Avenue Ceramics. Such beautiful food should be served on, and prepared with, the most beautiful dishes.

So frequently, we eat from disposable, single use products, but Lafayette Avenue seeks to remedy that. These are heirlooms for your everyday.
